Privacy Policy

RainbowShapeArt is a geometric colouring app. Your colouring progress stays on your device. We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand how the app is used, and — if you choose to create an account or subscribe — the information needed to provide those services. We do not sell your data.

Puzzle progress, your saved and recent colours, and your free-taster status are stored in your browser (local storage) and never leave your device unless you sign in to sync. A random device identifier is also stored locally to group anonymous analytics events.

We record coarse, non-identifying events — page views, which puzzles are started or completed, guided vs freestyle usage, and install-funnel steps — together with a random device identifier and broad device/browser/platform buckets. This tells us what to improve. It is not linked to your name and is not used for advertising. Non-essential analytics is governed by your consent choice, which you can change at any time from the footer.

If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details through our infrastructure provider (Supabase) to sign you in and sync your access across devices. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this removes your profile and access records.

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy terms. We keep a record of your subscription or purchase status so we can unlock the features you have paid for.

If you use the contact form, we keep the name, email and message you provide so we can reply and improve the product.

If you enable notifications, we store the browser push subscription needed to send them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser or device settings.

RainbowShapeArt includes a children's colouring and learning mode intended for use alongside a parent or guardian. Children do not need an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the anonymous, non-identifying analytics described above.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Account holders can delete their account and data directly from the Account page. For any other request, contact us.
