Make your own geometric pattern — free, in your browser

RainbowShapeArt's pattern studio turns a ring of points into an original geometric design. You place spokes around a circle and join them into chords; wherever the lines enclose a shape, that shape becomes a region you can fill. It's free, it runs in your browser, and you don't need an account to start.

How the pattern studio works

  1. Choose how many spokes sit around the circle — a few for bold shapes, more for detail.
  2. Tap two points to draw a chord across the circle. Keep going to build up the design.
  3. Where chords cross, they enclose regions — each one becomes a fillable shape.
  4. Pick a colour from the full colour wheel and tap a region to fill it.
  5. Save your pattern, or export it as an image to keep or share.

Kaleidoscope, mosaic and other symmetry styles

If you'd rather a pattern build itself, the advanced pattern studio generates symmetrical designs in styles like Kaleidoscope, Mosaic, Starburst, Spiral, Wave and Petal Flow — pick a style, regenerate until you like it, then colour it in.

Why it's satisfying to build, not just colour

Making a pattern from a few simple lines is low-stakes and open-ended — no score, no timer, no right answer — so your attention has something gentle to settle on. Many people find it a relaxing, screen-quiet way to spend a few minutes. (We make no medical or therapeutic claims — it's simply a calm way to spend a few minutes.)
